Free flu shots are available to all students age 18 and younger at the SMCISD campuses. The vaccines are ready now.
If you wish for your child to be innoculated, please contact the campus nurse to make arrangements for the shot.

San Marcos CISD Superintendent Dr. Patty Shafer presented a letter announcing her retirement effective December 31, 2010, to the School Board trustees at a Special Board meeting held Monday, August 30, 2010. Shafer joined the SMCISD team as superintendent in spring 2007.

San Marcos CISD school board member Jesse Ponce, Jr. was injured in a bicycling accident shortly after 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 29, 2010, in the 200 block of Staples Road near the intersection of Laredo Street.
