Mission
Statement: The
primary mission of the department revolves around six goals:
1.
to encourage and support students in the Gifted and
Talented program
2. to advise and manage AP courses and exams
3. to prepare
and register students for the SAT and ACT
4.
to serve as Internship Advisor for students in DAP Independent
Study exhibition class
5.
to assist students with G/T Recognition with Merit and
DAP Candidacy for graduation
6.
to support and advise students with dual-enrollment or
concurrent enrollment options.
