| Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) are the foundation of all academic programs in San Marcos CISD. Program resources for students and teachers are selected for their rigorous standards for student learning. Research based instructional practices in the classroom ensure students are achieving grade level and course expectations. Preparing students for the 21st century and increasing the number of SMCISD graduates who are “college ready” are the core purposes of academics. |
