Happy New School Year and Welcome to Ms. Acosta's web page.

My name is Ms. Acosta and I'm the new bilingual 2nd grade teacher.  I have 9 years experience teaching bilingual education.  Within those years, I have taught PreK, Kindergarten, first, second, third, fourth and 5th grade in the summer. My 3 years experience teaching special education have predominantly been with Language Arts, Literacy and Dyslexia.  I have also worked as a specialist and interventionist for 504 students and RTI groups.  Withing those years, I intermittently taught bilingual dyslexia.  I am enjoying my new home at Mendez Elementary.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me about any question or concerns.
