I attended Texas State University and earned my bachelor's degree in psychology. I received my Teaching Certification training from the Region 13 Education Center. I also hold a certificate in English as a Second Language. I have a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math and as a result have began a "makerspace" in my classroom. This will be my 4th year teaching at DeZavala Elementary. I previously was a 4th grade teacher, but I now currently have my dream teaching position as a 5th grade teacher of math and science!
