We will have many projects this year ranging from cutting and gluing to water color and more! Please know that as a mom, I am always thinking about how to best preserve your kiddos clothes and we will do our best to stay as clean as possible while creating our masterpieces!
A detailed dress code of what is and is not allowed can be found in the Student Code of Conduct Handbook at www.smcisd.net but in general these are my recommendations for our classroom.
Be comfortable. Nothing so tight that it’s hard to move or so baggy that it may fall off.
Be clean. No dirty, tattered, or torn clothing.
Dress for the weather. In the winter they will need to wear closed toe shoes and bring a jacket to go outside. I do recommend layers in general for our crazy Texas weather!
What to Leave at Home:
- Stuffed Animals
- Excessive/distracting supplies
- Medicines (unless they are given to the nurse)
