If you are labeled a close contact and are unvaccinated:
- Stay home for 5 days. You may not return before 5 days with a negative test. After that continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
If you are labeled a close contact and are partially vaccinated (completed the primary series of Moderna or Pfizer over 6 months ago and not boosted, completed the primary series of J&J over 2 months ago and not boosted):
- Stay home for 5 days. You may not return before 5 days with a negative test. After that continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
If you have had a booster or completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine within the last 6 months and are not yet eligible for the booster or completed the primary series of J&J vaccine within the last 2 months:
- You do not have to quarantine and can come to school/work if no symptoms appear. If symptoms appear, stay home. You can return with a negative test or a doctor’s note with an alternative diagnosis or 5 days have elapsed.
