Substitutes

Thank you for your interest in being a substitute/guest teacher.  San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District has partnered with ESS to manage our substitute program. A leader in K-12 staffing, ESS is now responsible for the hiring, training, and placement of all daily and long-term substitute teachers, substitute counselors, and substitute campus administrators.

The district values the work of substitutes and appreciates the critical role that subs have in the effective and efficient operation of schools.  Substitutes with San Marcos CISD will be compensated weekly and will have the flexibility to accept and choose available assignments.
