Hi and welcome to room 100! My name is Amanda Bland and I am one of the ACL (Alternate Curriculum Learning) teachers at SMHS. This is my second year of teaching. I have been around San Marcos High School and other SMCISD campuses for many years as I completed different internships during my time at Texas State University. I'm originally from Flower Mound but moved to San Marcos in 2013 and love to call San Marcos my home. I have two amazing teacher partners and a very supportive and hardworking staff. We also coach Special Olympics bowling and basketball throughout the year. 

My hobbies include, cooking, reading, working out, and spending time with my friends and boyfriend. 

I look forward to many more years in the San Marcos community and working at SMHS.
