I attended Texas State University where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Music on 2007 and a Masters Degree in Music Education in 2013. While there I studied Classical Guitar with Mark Cruz, Percussion with Genaro Gonzales and had four semesters of voice lessons with Dr. Bert Neely. I love all things music but specialize in salsa, mariachi, and Classical Guitar. I also spent some time studying flamenco guitar in Seville Spain with Daniel Jurado. I am grateful and humbled to be get to teach music to the students of SMCISD. 

I am also a member of San Marcos based Mariachi Suroeste and do basic luthiery as a hobby. My goal is to one day build a classical guitar and a guitarron for me to play on. :-)
