I have been teaching for 24 years which have included primary and secondary grade levels. This is my sixth year as a Spanish teacher in San Marcos CISD and I am currently teaching Spanish I & III Pre-AP classes.
I was raised in the Rio Grande Valley and graduated from UT Pan American University in Edinburg, Texas. My husband and I have four daughters and a son. We also have three lovely granddaughters and three grandsons who keep us young and active.
I believe student, parent and teacher collaboration is necessary in order to ensure academic progress and success. Feel free to contact me with any concerns or feedback. You may contact me during my planning period or e-mail me at olga.garcia@smcisd.net. In addition, students are encouraged to attend tutorial sessions throughout the school year, please encourage your child to access these sessions as needed. Please see below for additional information.
