Writing and learning with my students is an incredible experience; literature connects us, as do our words on the page--every day. This year, I get to learn in English II/PreAP. I've been teaching middle and high school English and AVID for nineteen years now--in New Mexico, New York, and now Central Texas. I am the English Instructional Coach here at SMHS. Additionally, I've presented with the Central Texas Writing Project (TXState) as part of the National Writing Project, and the National Council for the Teachers of English. Hanging out with my husband and three kids, hiking, fishing, and writing are all home. 

Navigating our world is a bit different today. What a gift is is that we get to take this adventure together!
