I attended Texas Woman's University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science.  I founded and then directed the Goodnight Junior High Dancin' Stars Dance Team, which has no resulted in flourishing programs at the middle schools in SMCISD.  I worked for HTEDance & Spirit Group for ten years, serving as Vice President of the company for four years.

I have choreographed for many special events across the state of Texas, including the Dallas Children's Parade and the Alamo Bowl and was a repeat workshop presenter at the Drill Team Directors of America annual convention and served as the choreographer for the National All Star Drill Team.  Throughout the last 15 years, I have received many awards for instruction and choreography and in 2016 and 2018 was selected as the American Dance & Drill Team "Most Outstanding Director."  As a proud Rattler alum, I was selected by the San Marcos Education Foundation, in 2016, as "Distinguished Alumni."

  I am in my 11th year of teaching dance and directing at the high school level and have been with SMCISD all 11 years.  I am married and have a 6 year old daughter!  I am beyond honored to teach at my alma mater and LOVE my job!
