I have two grown sons, Dakotah and Mitchell and a new grandbaby, Ziva. My family is a large part of who I am. My son and the children in the youth group I was working with are the reason I became a Special Educator. I have a unique lens to approach all situations through since I have been the parent and the teacher of a child with special needs. I firmly believe that every child can learn and should. I believe in fostering a growth mindset. I am going into my year ninth year of teaching. I have spent my years of teaching at Travis Elementary. I began as a Transition to Learning teacher, working with students with Autism. I now work with all students in the co-teaching , resource, and inclusion settings.
I look forward to collaborating with you and working with your child.
