Hello!  My name is Mrs. Nichols and I am so excited to be the Reading Interventionist at Travis Elementary!  I am looking forward to helping children feel successful and confident about reading.  I will be working with classroom teachers to help all students at Travis make gains in reading.

A little about me:  I was born and raised in Austin, Texas.  I went to college to study teaching at Texas State University here in San Marcos.  I enjoyed San Marcos so much I decided to look for a job here.  This is my seventh year at Travis Elementary School.  I live in San Marcos with my husband, my 2 daughters, two cats and a dog!  We are going to have a great year and I can’t wait to get started!
