Hello everyone! My name is Mr. Salinas, and I'm excited to have all of you in my class. I am 37 years old and this will be my 11th year here at Travis Elementary. This will be my 5th year in 4th grade. I had previously been a PE Coach for 6 years. Travis is like my home away from home. I have 3 wonderful kids. My son Joey, 16, will be a Junior this year. Then I have Jocelyn, 15, who will be a Sophomore. Finally, I have my youngest Janelle, 13, who is a 8th grader. They are all products of Travis Elementary. When I am not teaching, I find myself playing sports like football or softball. One thing I love to do is go hunting with my family. I also coach 4th/5th grade football and basketball. I enjoy going out to see my students participate in different types of extra curricular activities. I am looking forward to meeting all of you this year!
