Hi, I am David Torres a fourth grade teacher at Travis Elementary. I am originally from Brownsville, TX but have been living here in San Marcos for the last fifteen years. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. This will be my third year here at Travis and I am looking forward to this new school year.

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading a good book and playing sports. The Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Astros are my favorite sports teams. I love anything to do with Batman and all things Marvel. My favorite color is red.

Since we are an AVID campus we believe every student has the ability to be college ready. Our class has adopted the University of Texas at Dallas. Go Comets!!
