Hello!  My name is Lacey Major and I am a special education teacher at Bowie Elementary.  This is my 11th year at Bowie! I am co-teacher, which means I go in to the general education classroom and work with the teacher to ensure that all students are successful in the classroom.  I love teaching at Bowie and truly enjoy all of my students and coworkers.  Bowie really is a great place to be.

I am married to a proud rattler graduate and together we have two sons.  I grew up in a small town in South Texas with my parents and 2 sisters.  My dad was a farmer and my mother worked as lecturer at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.  As a family, we love the outdoors; hunting, fishing, and swimming are some of our favorites things to do.  I look forward to getting to know your student!  Strike as one!
