Hello, My name is Kristian Cogdill and this is my 7th year teaching in SMCISD and my fourth year at San Marcos High School. I was born and raised in San Marcos and graduated from high school in 2010. After high school, I attended The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota for four years where I played football and graduated with a degree in Exercise Physiology. After my four years in Minnesota, I moved back to San Marcos and earned a Masters degree in secondary education from Texas State University. My family has a long tradition in San Marcos as my grandmother, Lilla Mae Cogdill, was a principal for the high school. My grandfather, Norman Peterson, was an English professor at the university, and my immediate family also graduated from SMHS.
