¡Estoy muy emocionada para empezar el año escolar! Estoy muy contenta de poder ayudar a nuestros estudiantes ser exitosos promedio de la educación bilingüe.

Un poco sobre mí. Yo nací en Visalia California, pero me considero tejana de corazón.  En el primer grado me mude a Texas y he vivido aquí desde que tenía 6 años. Asistí a la escuela en un pueblito llamado Lytle. Cuando me gradué asistí a la Universidad de Texas State y recibí mi bachillerato en educación bilingüe. Estoy muy contenta de poder ser maestra en el distrito de San Marcos.

Algo muy importante para mí es mi familia. Mi papa y mama viven en Lytle con mis dos hermanitos pequeños que empezaran el tercer y cuarto grado este año.  Mi hermano mayor siguió mis pasos y está estudiando la Universidad de Texas State y va en su tercer año. Este diciembre pasado también me case y mi nueva familia ahora consiste de mi esposo Jeremía un conejito llamado Flint. Recientemente compramos una casa en Canyon Lake.

Algunas de mis cosas favoritas es pintar, plantar y crecer flores, hacer pasteles y diferentes golosinas.

Esto es un poco sobre mí y estoy muy emocionada por conocer a mis estudiantes este año.

I am very excited to begin the school year! I am very happy to help our students become bilingual and bi-literate.

A little about me. I was born in Visalia California, but consider myself a Texan by heart.  In first grade I moved to Texas and have lived here since I was 6 years old. I went to school in a small town called Lytle and when I graduated I went to Texas State University and received my Bachelor’s degree in bilingual education. I am very happy to be a teacher at San Marcos CISD!

Something very important to me is my family. My father and mother live in Lytle with my two little brothers who will be starting third and fourth grade this year.  My other brother followed my steps and is currently a junior studying at Texas State University. Also, this past December I got married and my new family now consists of my husband Jeremiah and a bunny called Flint. We recently purchased a home in Canyon Lake.

Some of my hobbies are painting, gardening, and baking.
