My name is Marisela Ybarra. I've lived in San Marcos six years, which is how long I've been married. I have two beautiful boys who are enrolled in the San Marcos CISD. I'm in love with San Marcos and all that this community has to offer.

I attended Northwest Arkansas Community College, Austin Community College, and graduated Cum Laude from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I worked in non-profit for eight years prior to teaching. My biggest focus was economic literacy for moderate to low-income families. This is my first year teaching and my first year at Miller Middle School. I am excited to be teaching 7th grade ELA and honored to be a part of SMCISD.
