Hello Rodriguez families!

My name is Alyssa Perez and this is my second year teaching third grade.  Last school year I was at Crockett, where I taught third grade and during the 2017-2018 school year I was an Instructional Assistant that worked with English language learners from Kindergaten to Third grade.  When I wasn't working with my small groups, I spent the rest of the day in third grade classrooms helping the classroom teachers and managing my assigned small groups. I have teaching experience in second grade from Gonzales ISD, where I taught ELAR and Social Studies.  I am beyond excited to be in OUR new school and working your wonderful children!

I live in San Marcos with my husband Steven, our two daughters, and our Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Ollie.  Our oldest daughter, Zoe, is a 8th grader at Miller Middle School and our youngest daughter, Cece, is three years old, and keeps us on our toes. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and going to San Marcos river to cool off.  One of my favorite activities is to bake.  I bake anything and everything and have yet to master the art of making French Macarons.
