Welcome to Rodriguez Elementary! My name is Jessica Botello,this year is my 12th year in education, during this time I have had the pleasure of teaching many talented artist.  I absolutley love Rodriguez Elementary.  I was honored to be named the 2019 - 2020 Teacher of the Year for our campus. I am married, have two children, two dogs and a cat.  I am a practicing artist and in my spare time I draw and paint small scale paintings.  My friend and fellow Crockett Elementary Art Teacher, Amy Hall, have painted a couple of murals for The City of San Marcos, Mural Arts Program. In my class your child will have the opportunity to learn about art Art History and art from other cultures.

This school year will look a little bit different but I am certain students will have an enjoyable experience.  Art lessons will be the same for both in person and remote learners.  Rodriguez Elementary is offering free school supplies to our students, these supplies can be used for acedemic and special area classes.  All remote work will be graded through Canvas, please let me know if you are having any technology issues and I can assist you. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and follow my teacher twitter page @jessicarteacher
