¡Hola! Mi nombre es Sofía Sanborn y voy a ser una maestra Bilingüe de 3er Grado durante el curso escolar 2020-2021. Este es mi primer año en De Zavala, ¡así que me entusiasma mucho empezar a trabajar con alumnos y familias en esta nueva experiencia educativa para todos!

Me crié en España en un pueblo cerca de Madrid, y crecí hablando tres idiomas con fluidez, Español, Ruso e Inglés, ¡por lo que tengo muchas ganas de guiar a una nueva generación de alumnos bilingues!

Estoy deseando conocer y aprender sobre todos mis increíbles alumnos y alumnas. Este año va a ser una nueva experiencia para todos nosotros, pero juntos, ¡podremos superarlo!

Hello! My name is Sofia Sanborn and I will be a 3rd Grade Bilingual Teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. This is my first year at De Zavala, so I am very excited to start working with students and families in this new learning experience for everyone! 

I was raised in Spain in a town close to Madrid, and I grew up being fluent in three languages, Spanish, Russian and English, which is why I am thrilled to guide a new generation of bilingual students!

I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of my amazing students. This year will be a new experience for all of us, but together, we will be able to get through it!
