Hi there! My name is Hailey Goodspeed and I teach biology at San Marcos High School. Science is my passion, especially life science and astronomy, so it is so exciting to get to teach my passion daily to my students. This is my 8th year of teaching: my first three years were spent teaching biology in Lockhart at M.L. Cisneros Freshmen Campus and the next four were teaching 7th grade science at Doris Miller Middle School here in San Marcos. I am excited to be teaching my 8th year back at the high school level, especially in our amazing town of San Marcos. I was born and raised in El Campo and graduated from El Campo High School in 2007. From there I went to Wharton County Junior College and then transferred to Texas A&M University. I graduated from A&M with my biology degree in 2011. I am married to my husband, Sean, and we have three dogs (Brewski, Dax and Luloo), an African Sideneck turtle (Jaws) and two Bearded Dragon lizards (Spike and Emma). We also are very excited to announce that we will be adding a baby boy to our crew this June!
