San Marcos CISD has seen great success with efforts to transform education.  From full school redesign, launching a new school, and other programs in between, the work continues to scale. Continuing the momentum, we are pleased to announce that we have restructured a portion of TLA by forming a cross-functional Office of Innovation to help meet the ever-changing demands of future-ready learning.

What does the Office of Innovation do? 

The Office of Innovation, alongside the Teaching, Learning, and Assessment department, engages in various initiatives from innovative programs to full school redesign.

Innovation supports include targeted professional development (both live and asynchronous), immersive professional learning experiences, design thinking for various types of problem-solving and to guide program design, personalized learning, and blended learning. Instructional technology is a continuous area of support as it is critical to successful technology-infused teaching and learning.
