Mrs. Amanda Cochran

I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year. We have a lot of amazing lessons plans to help your child play, learn and grow.  My goal for this year is that every child is Kindergarten Ready with a strong foundation in place. My other goal is that each student learns to love school and that we as a team provide love and support to each child.

My name is Amanda Cochran and this is my 11th year teaching Pre-K here in San Marcos CISD.  I absolutely love teaching Pre-Kindergarten and watching how much the students grow throughout the year.
I grew up in a small town in Minnesota , where I learned my love of nature by spending hours playing outside with my siblings.
I move to Texas in 2002 and I finished my B.S in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University.  I have been married for 16 years and we have two girls. Falon is now in 9th grade and Paxtyn is in 6th grade.  My family and I love taking walks(running), swimming, hiking, fishing, hunting, playing sports and watching football. 
I am looking forward to the wonderful new year here at Bohnam PreK School. We will provide students with an opportunity to play, learn, explore, grow and achieve what they need to be successful in the future!

Music- I love anykind of music. I am not a great singer but love to sing along.
