I grew up in Lockhart and attended Lockhart public schools. I graduated from SWT in 1991, and then worked at the Bergstrom Air Force Base Child Development Center for 2 years. I am beginning my 30th year as a teacher. I taught for 13 years in Lockhart, teaching first grade, multi-age (1st and 2nd), second grade, and third grade. This is my 17th year at Crockett Elementary. I taught second graders for a number of years and now I'm loving teaching first graders. My family and I live in Wimberley. My husband, Greg, and I have 2 sons. They both attended Crockett from Kindergarten through 5th grade. Matt is a graduate student at Hardin Simmons University, and Kyle is a recent high school graduate. He will be attending Blinn College this year. I'm going to miss watching Kyle play high school football this fall. But on Saturdays, my husband and I will be traveling to watch Matt play football for the Hardin Simmons Cowboys. In my free time I like to run, read, scrapbook, do jigsaw puzzles, and spend time with my family. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year with all my Crockett Superstars!
