Hi, my name is Michelle Vela. This is my 14th year teaching Kindergarten. Thirteen of those years have been at Crockett Elementary. I graduated and received my teaching degree from Texas Tech in  Lubbock Texas. When I am not at work I love spending time with my husband and college daughter. I love teaching Kindergarten! I am a firm believer that every child can succeed with the right environment and support. I understand that no two students are alike and there is no one way to teach. I teach in many different ways. In my class we use songs, hand movements, visuals and hands on activities to learn a concept. I am a strong believer that parents and teachers should work together and share the same goals. The main goal should be to always help, support and encourage students to succeed.
