Hello Kindergartners and families, 

Welcome to our class web page. I am Mrs. Aguirre and I will be your child's teacher and could not be more excited. We are going to have a great school  year of learning. I was born in Mexico city. i have been teaching for 13 years all in kindergarten and first grade. I lived in Dallas for 10 years and in 2015 our family moved to San Marcos. I have been working at DeZavala since 2015.  I graduated and received my teaching degree from Texas Tech in  Lubbock Texas. When I am not at work I love spending time with my husband and college daughter. I love teaching kindergarten! I have a degree in Economics. I love spending time with my family. I have a little girl who is 2 years and 9 months old. My husband is from Greece and works at Texas State University. We met and fell in love in Dallas.  I am a firm believer that every child can succeed with the right environment and support. I understand that no two students are alike and there is no one way to teach. I teach in many different ways. In my class we use songs, hand movements, visuals and hands on activities to learn a concept. I am a strong believer that parents and teachers should work together and share the same goals.
