I am a kindergarten teacher at De Zavala Elementary and graduated from Texas Tech University. I have been married 14 wonderful years and together we have three kids that attend SMCISD. We also have two dogs named Owen and Sam, 2 hermit crabs, and a turtle that we recently adopted. My favorite place to eat is at Chick-fil-A and I also love BBQ. In my spare time you will find me spending time with my family, traveling, or completing DIY projects. 

The start of a new school year stirs up so many feelings- excited, scared, nervous, happy, and sad. These are all understandable which is why we will ease into the school year getting to know each other. Parents, please consider Kindergarten as a "tripod" involving myself, your child, and you.
