I am a native Texan and have been living in San Marcos for the last 17 years.  This is my home and I love the community here!  On weekends you may run into me at a birthday party, sporting event, or (most likely) Target.  I am passionate about travel and have visited 16 different countries.  I love learning languages and I dabble in French, Spanish, and sign language.   In my spare time I love going to the movies, reading, crafting, and shopping.

I went to Texas State University and earned my bachelor's degree in education.  I student taught in a first grade classroom in Dripping Springs.  I taught second grade for 3 years at Crockett Elementary and this will mark my 10th year as a second grade teacher and unit leader at DeZavala Elementary.
