Undergraduate Degree in Geography from Texas State Environmental Studies Teaching Degree earned in Elementary Education K-6th from Barton College in Wilson, NC. Certification in Social Studies 4-8th in State of Texas.

Mrs. Melissa K. Allen

I am a graduate of Texas State's Geography Department and also received my teaching certification from Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina. 

I enjoying teaching my students about the World and the importance of culture and diversity. 

 

General Information for 6th Grade History

  • My History Conference Period is M-F 12:30 to 1:20 pm. 

    We do working rattlers for History on Thursday mornings from 7:45 to 8:15am. 

    Students can always schedule other mornings with me for working rattlers. 

    Parents are always able to schedule a meeting with me by appointment. 

     

  • We will use a laptop everyday in our room to enhance our learning experience.
