My Background

I am a San Marcos native and have lived here most of my life.   I have been teaching 21 years in the San Marcos CISD.  I have been married to my husband John for  25 years.   We have 2 "kids" : John, 25,  and Julia , 18.    We love having our pets at home: 3 dogs and 4 cats.   The things I enjoy are spending time with family,  reading,  arts and crafts, and  music.   

My Education Philosophy

I believe that all learners should be allowed to express themselves creatively,  feel emotionally and  physically safe, be encouraged and celebrated!

General Information

  •  

    I am a special education teacher who gives instruction, services to all students in the classroom.  I work in eighth grade language arts classrooms. 

    I am happy to conference or communicate by phone or email with parents.  Your son/ or daughter will benefit from positive and frequent communication between school and home.   

    My conference period is from 3:05 - 3:55, Monday through Friday.    

    I check my email at least twice a day,  so I would get your email and respond promptly.

    I look forward to keeping parents and students updated.
