Greetings Bobcat Parents!

Welcome to Mrs. Bodin's 1st grade class at Rodriguez Elementary
for the 2019-2020 school year! 

Although I have taught in New Mexico and Texas,
this will be my 7th year teaching with SMCISD.
I am excited to make this my best year yet! 

Tips for a successful year:

- Read with your child for 20 minutes every night

- Practice reading/writing the sight words in their welcome packet
- Practice addition, subtraction, money, time and counting to 120
- Go on nature walks and research the answers to all their questions
   about the wonderful world we live in
- Please send a water bottle with your child 
- Please contact me via e-mail, or contact the school to schedule a conference
