Miller Choir Director

Welcome to the Miller Choir!  Mr. Contreras has been directing the choir at Miller since 2012.  He is very proud of the excellent and hardworking students we have in our choir program.  Mr. Contreras directs a few choirs including the Tenor/Bass Choir, 6th Grade Treble Choir, Intermediate Treble Choir, Advanced Treble (auditioned) choir, and a Mixed Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass Advisory Choir (auditioned).  His students participate in many concerts, competitions, and performance events throughout the year.  He strives to promote a safe and respectful atmosphere in and out of the choir room.  Mr. Contreras truly believes that being involved in choir or any music elective is fundamental to our students’ education.  We bring our community together through songs as much as possible.

The Miller booster club is an organization of choir parents who help aid in the success of our growing choir program.  We meet once a month during the school year and vote and plan on upcoming events, fundraisers, concerts, rehearsals, etc. We have offices open to those who are willing to donate their support for the choir students and program!
