Mr. Perez graduated from San Marcos High School in 2008, and from U.T. (Austin) in 2012 with a degree in Pure Mathematics.  He worked in Lockhart for 1 year as a long-term Health Science Teacher and Biology Tutor.  Mr. Perez was hired at Miller as a paraprofessional servicing at-risk students for a couple of years, after which he was hired as a Math Resource Teacher for grade levels 6-8 and a Math Co-Teacher for 7th and 8th grade. I have just completed five years of service in San Marcos CISD and recently transferred to San Marcos High School, where I am currently teaching Pre-Calculus and AP Statistics.  

I love to travel around the world- I have visited the majority of the states in the U.S., I have visited Canada twice, and Mexico multiple times.  I plan on visiting all the continents (even Antarctica) while I am alive.

Huge animal lover- I used to be a foster parent and volunteer frequently at the PAWS animal shelter in Kyle; I am no longer a foster parent, but I still try to volunteer once a month or so.
