My name is Melissa Ruiz and I am a 7th grade Language Arts teacher at Middle Middle School. I am a former Rattler and graduated from San Marcos High School in the 90's.   I am the mother of 5 children who are currently or have been part of the San Marcos School District. This is my 6th year as an educator. I spent my first 3 years teaching in the Hays school district.  I am excited to be HOME and part of the community that I love!
