Ms. Sarah Perry
My name is Sarah Perry and this is my second year teaching at Mendez Elementary. I will be teaching 44 wonderful students Math and Science, while they switch and receive Reading, Writing, and Social Studies from my wonderful co-teacher Ms. Hammer. I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, until I moved to Corpus Christi, TX for college. I graduated with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi in 2016 and moved back to the New Braunfels area soon after graduation. I am a firm believer that any student can achieve anything with help and a belief they can achieve what ever they set their mind to.
A few things about me is I love to spend my time outside with my animals and fiance. If I could spend every weekend hiking or exploring I would. I have two dogs, Bentley, who I have had for officially 5 years, and Pasha, our new fur baby we adopted from the New Braunfels Humane Society. Of course give it five years from now and I hopefully will have rescued a few more fur babies. Due to me being a teacher and the reason I am a teacher, I love to read and learn new things. You will always find me with a book in my hands or on a website reading an article about new information. With that said, I do love my Netflix shows and could binge watch shows on a weekend, too.
