Important Information Regarding Student Transfers

San Marcos CISD will be opening a new school - Rodriguez Elementary - in August of 2019, thanks to the San Marcos Community passing Bond 2017.

With the opening of a new elementary school, San Marcos CISD held seven community meetings with the San Marcos Community to receive input designing new boundaries for the SMCISD campuses.

Following the seven community meetings, the San Marcos CISD Board of Trustees approved the new boundaries for the 2019-2020 school year with a unanimous 6-0 vote.
