San Marcos High School Automotive students learned about Toyota and Lexus’ T-Ten technician training program at Austin Community College’s Round Rock Campus during an open house on Friday, April 12. 

SMHS students met with T-TEN trainers, instructors, and students during info sessions, which include question and answer sessions, display vehicles, hands-on engine and transmission cut-aways, factory scan tools on display, and interactive electrical boards. 

Students also toured the campus and met with ACC and T-TEN staff to receive information about enrollment and financial assistance. 

The Toyota & Lexus T‑TEN program provides students with state-of-the-art, hands-on automotive diagnosis and repair training. The program is a partnership between community colleges, vocational schools, and Toyota and Lexus dealerships.
