Scott Masini began his education career as an Elementary Teacher in Alief, Texas where he taught 3rd and 4th grade. He then moved to St. Paul, Minnesota where he spent most of his twenty-four years in Education. In Minnesota, Masini began teaching 2nd grade for six years. He was then asked to become a Teacher on Special Assignment for five years. Thereafter, Masini served as an assistant principal for five years. Most recently, he has held the seat of Principal of Bruce F. Vento Elementary School in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Masini earned his Bachelor's degree in Education from Minnesota State University – Mankato, and master of education degree from Capella University in Minnesota.

Scott is excited to return to the great state of Texas and join the wonderful community of San Marcos.
