San Marcos CISD students and staff represented the district on Tuesday, October 1, at City Hall for various proclamations by Mayor Jane Hughson. Hernandez Monarch Heroes replaced their capes for wings to showcase their campus and community efforts in monarch butterfly preservation.

The Friday Night Lights returned to San Marcos Toyota Field on Friday, September 6, as the Rattlers hosted the Wolves of Pflugerville Weiss. The night included a pre-game Tailgate for new SMCISD teachers, Texas State State residents, and new teachers, Fine Art performances and Little Rattler Night!
