Mr. John Walsh

Athletic Director

Head Football Coach

John Walsh will be starting his 32nd year in education and coaching,20 of those years as the head football coach. Coach Walsh has lead his teams to the playoffs 14 of those 19 years. Of those 14 years his teams reached the semifinals 6 times, coached in 4 State Championship games and won of 2 them. Coach Walsh is married to Amber (Goodnight Middle School girls coordinator, and has 3 children - JW Walsh 33 (who played QB for him and lead them to thier first state title game) coaches football at his alma mater Oklahome State. Sami Walsh 26 (graduate from the University of Arkansas) lives in the Dallas business world. Maggie Walsh 22 (San Marcos HS graduate) plays volleyball at Texas State University.
