Hello, I am Emily Valdez, the school Librarian and Information Literacy Specialist at Travis Elementary.  I manage and maintain the library here at Travis as well as help to support teachers and students with the variety of technology we use.  I am a proud graduate of San Marcos High School, Texas State University and Texas Woman's University.

My goal for our library resources to support the curriculum as well as to provide a variety of materials that meet the interests of our students.  Through our library programs I hope to promote a love of reading and an eagerness to learn.
