Head Cross Country Coach

Owen McGlothlin was born and raised in San Marcos, Texas. He is a 2017 graduate of San Marcos High School, where he competed in cross country, track, and soccer, winning seven district titles over his four years. Coach McGlothlin continued his athletic and academic career at Texas State University, receiving an athletic scholarship to run cross country and track. While at Texas State, he met his wife and teammate, Tina. He graduated in 2021 with a B.S. in Management. Coach McGlothlin is entering his third year in education. After two years in NISD, this will be his first year in SMCISD. He is very excited to be back in San Marcos.
