I was born and raised in Eagle Pass, TX. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Loyola University Chicago. I, then, received a Master of Science in Adult and Higher Education from Northern Illinois University.
I have been with the district for 6 years. I have coached Football and Track for 5 of these years. I started off as a FOCUS Aid for San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District. I went on to become a Special Education Co-Teacher for 7th grade Math and Language Arts. I, recently, became a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner. I am, currently, a Reading Strategies and English as a Second Language teacher for both 7th and 8th grade.
