Kash Greathouse began his career in San Marcos CISD as an elementary teacher at James Bowie Elementary for three years. Following his years as a teacher, he spent three years as an assistant principal, one year at Gonzales Junior High school and two at Owen Goodnight Middle School, respectively.

Greathouse is passionate about seeing young people grow. His educational philosophy is believing that all students are unique in their own way and require nurturing for them to maximize their full potential.  Greathouse looks forward to working with students, parents, teachers, and community members on setting extraordinary goals for student learning and academic achievement.

Greathouse grew up in Gonzales, Texas, and received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Texas Lutheran University. He then went on to earn a master of elementary education degree from Texas State University.

Greathouse is married to his wife Lexie and together have a son, Korben, and a daughter, Elliana.
