Ms. Jean Hoghoughi is the proud assistant principal of Rodriguez Elementary School. She is passionate about making a difference and grateful to be a part of a collaborative learning community that inspires life-long learners and leaders.
Ms. Hoghoughi is originally from San Diego, California, but was raised in the small town of Gonzales, Texas. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University with an emphasis on early childhood education. She then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration through Lamar University.
Ms. Hoghoughi has ten years of experience in education ranging from elementary to high school level. This is her fifth year serving San Marcos CISD. Her educational philosophy is dedicated to nurturing and empowering students to reach their full potential, in the classroom and beyond, based on practices rooted in rigor, relevance, and relationships. Ms. Hoghoughi looks forward to a great year at Rodriguez Elementary, partnering with teachers, students, parents, and the community to personalize learning and educate the whole child.
