The Grande Cares Employee Memorial Scholarship (GEMS), is something very dear to Astound Broadband powered by Grande's hearts; in 2002 the Grande Cares Club decided to honor employees who have passed on by awarding driven students with a scholarship.  The scholarship is also personal for the fact that funds raised are directly from the employees, and the students chosen for the scholarship are handpicked by the employees as well.

There is an individualized application for this scholarship.
